Hold on

A parallel universe came & crashed your little world,

sacking your warmth, smashing the comfort,

leaving you wondering of life and next,

succumbing to the storm & snow,

as you thought of letting go,

rays of light hit you hard,

only to ring the bells of self,

in that pure moment, you celebrate while you sob,

wherefore in the storms hold on tight,

just like you did,

Before you were born.

In the middle of nowhere!

Between a yes and a no,

there exists a maybe,

Between constant motivation and procrastination

there exists an ambition,

in the middle of several constant denials and an immediate acceptance,

destiny shows its cards,

in the journey to the success through a thousand failures, experience finds its way,

amid morality and selfishness,

deep driven desires rise,

between the reaction and an action, abides karma,

there between the patience and saturation,

exists the will,

somewhere between the longings and meetings, expectations breathe,

between love and friendship,

there exists a little less and a lot more,

between the peace and chaos,

there somewhere we all find our perfect beat

I guess there in between is exactly where life exists!

And thats why i know there in between I’ll find me!

Ripples along!

Every simple, incomplex action creates ripples, ripples that undeniably affects others, words- a misfortunate slip of tongue or a mischief, a little wink, a playful dare, a sneak here and a peek there, unabashedly nipping off the hopeful thread. Interdependence, interconnectivity, survival and selection lurking within the books of Science, are not simple terms as they seem to be or rather taught to be, dictating life and lessons to be learnt of! Well, that being said off, while sailing in a utter rush to reach the coast, be leery of the ripple along!

Someday she’ll realize :)

P.S. To all those people who give a lot and receive a little, who have a firm believe in themselves even if this world doesn’t, hopefully these verses touch a few strings and make that faith stronger..

sm

She had so much love to give,
little did she keep for herself,
only if she knew all her scars and sufferings
healed with the red portion itself..

She saw beauty beyond vision
only if she saw mirror once again,
she would have noticed the glitters
and broken off her chain..

She found peace even in raging noises,
and in the quietest of zone,
I wonder if she knew,
tranquility was her own tone…

She helped each one in disdain,
finding joy in their smile,
a helping hand towards her own self
today, tomorrow, each day for a while..

Unaware of the path to take, the footsteps to follow
she is just walking and walking, somewhere something would stuck and make her stop,
fearlessly she conquers, ignoring the taunts and comments, and unapologetic voices
of the crowd, but someday she’ll realize, someday something will stuck and make her stop..
till then She had so much love to give,
little did she keep for herself,
only if she knew all her scars and sufferings
healed with the red portion itself..

Transforming Thoughts into Words!

“Omg! you look gorgeous!- ah! that’s too much to write..lets just hit the heart key, it will convey it all. But let’s pause for a moment and consider does it really convey what you wanted to say? will it have the same impact as your personal comment would? Neither will it get you a tagged comment saying Thank you..

Apart from facebook, in our daily lives, we skip lots of words of appreciation and buttering; which we think we should have said or spoken but do not speak due to following reasons-

  • It would be an awkward situation to handle
  •  I would be misinterpreted (especially in case if you are a guy)
  •  Who does that in today’s times?
  •  Let it go! it would not make such a difference.

But what if it creates a better situation, better understanding? and you are not misinterpreted and considered as frank or bold person? And don’t you want to be a different person in this huge world? and what if it makes a difference…

Little compliments, words of appreciation, good thoughts and anticipation of efforts never harm anybody, it only boosts up morale, secondly your thoughts will turn into actions and will not just roam around , occupying spaces in your head.

So next time, you see someone looking pretty, say it! next time you see an oldie working out, appreciate him! Thank your teachers and parents even if these days its not so cool! Touch the feet of your elders and bow in respect even it’s uncommon in your peers.. and take time to gratify the glorious ; if you know its worth it!

When you’ll transform your thoughts into your words, World around you will involuntarily Transform!

P.S. This is how I transform my thoughts into words, hope you like it 🙂

Book review: Our I’m possible Love by Durjoy Dutta

After a peaceful read through the pages of this novel, I have learnt many a things, there is always something to learn from every read..So instead of judging the book, I would like to point things learnt through the journey

  • Rape is never the fault of the women, NEVER EVER! even if the the girl is sleeping next to you, you are allowed to touch her without prior permission, even she is all into you, you are not in charge of her and cannot enter her temples , No dude you can’t….
  • You are born to be different, you are not meant to be like anybody else, you are unique creation of  almighty…you are not your body, or those freckles , or those rumours.. you are your creativity, your imagination, wings that behold you in high skies..
  • You cannot choose whom to fall for, every time it is meant to be, may be just as a chapter, your perfect person is one made up of all imperfections within..
  • You need to talk much often to share, to relief yourself.. You shouldn’t judge people without even talking to them, may be they already knew about it long time ago.but waiting for you to burst open..
  • LGBT is a very sensitive issue, after reading the thoughts of a supporting character, i realised it is really simple to show support , to complain, to characterise, but really difficult to comprehend (I did) , to feel what they go through..
  • Family is the major support system we all need, whether biological or social, nobody can replace them, be thankful everyday for people who make your life happy just by existing (mom and dad especially).. siblings though we love hate them..the proportion of love will always be on higher side.
  • Lastly, LOVE IS POSSIBLE , strike through all impossibilities and just go for it……… song quote “na umar ki seema ho, na janam ka ho bandhan, jab pyar kre koi toh dekhe kewal mann”

Thanks to the author of amazing best sellers “Durjoy Dutta” for such cool , easy to read and understand, connecting and relatable books

Without Buzz, Beep and Trings!

I couldn’t imagine myself spending my days without you, loosing the sight of you gave me mini heart attacks, finding yourself next to me in the morning felt complete bliss… Capturing moments together purely indispensable.

As I have passed a few days without you being present in the scenario, My Precious Communicator, Link to social world, Darling Cellphone, Life is not so difficult babe.

Things that happened to me without my phone:

  • Increase in observation skills : I started observing things much more for those days, the things which were far off my interest, things I had crossed several times but didn’t receive my precious look, useful as well as useless things. My observation skills were now not limited to sudden vibrations and screen light.
  • Speed of walking: Try walking on without texting, talking over phone, tweeting or listening to music, and I’m sure you’ll certainly qualify for Olympic walks. The safest organ is your head  which doesn’t have to bear sudden bangs.
  • Dislodging creativity: without those constant app reminders and alerts, as well as no pokemon go to release your energy and time, you realise you aren’t a piece of shit,  you certainly possess some creativity and talent. thank goodness! You and I can do something , that too useful. :p
  • Cleanliness surrounds you from all side : clean room, clean shelves, clean cupboards, clean kitchen, clean home, clean you, clean me, clear her, clean this , clean that becomes motto of your life, undeniably your mom is the happiest one.
  • Attention to other devices : Your other remotely used devices get much needed attention, and noticeably you notice they are not so bad. also the books long kept in reading list get read.

The conclusion of sharing my situation with you is to make you understand from my experience that life exists outside of our mobile screens. to all those who think it is quite impossible to spend your day without your phone, honestly its not that difficult. So guys for a while lets keep our phone aside and recreate and relive.

PS. give your life a little life by living!

Rakshabandhan 2016: 1.44 a.m., 18 August (Thursday)

The day will begin with all chaos and noise & getting perfectly dressed and end as it generally ends with happiness gleaming, not because of the thread on your wrist but because of the all the presents and money received. But in these times where we live in secured environments of our homes and are much busy with the hustle bustle of our daily lives that notion of knot of protection seems absurd; I wonder why this occasion bothers us so much? Why are we so excited to buy the perfect Rakhis? Why we want to gift a perfect present to her? Is it all about just the rituals and roots or there is something much more to it? Or in the 21st century we are still stuck with the impression of thread of protection? I am not against the very idea of the occasion but what else apart from it.

This Rakshabandhan let us tie the thread—

  • To remind ourselves that we are not alone in this huge world, there will always be someone to spy on all our activities and to be on our head with never ending problems
  • To cherish beautiful times spent together, by looking at perfectly photo bombed pictures or half head photos.
  • To receive lots of sweets and cash of course, only to have them eaten within a week if not secured safely and to lend loans for lifetime.
  • To feel the aura of occasion, by mocked at how ugly you look in that newly brought dress
  • To celebrate rich culture, and reminded how you have been picked up from a bin outside the hospital.

Apart from these reasons, we tie the threads to say to our siblings how special they are to us, how much we love them and how different our lives would be without them! It would have been pretty hard to express such feelings if this festival was not celebrated.

We tie the band on wrist so that we can say without a doubt, “don’t you mess with me or he/she will beat you up!” and to cherish the sacred bond so far away from feign.

This Rakshabandhan let us express all we want to! The Love as well as the hidden Respect 😉

Letter to the Girl who Feels Lost

Dear Lost Girl,

You are not alone in this world, there are many many others like you, finding their path, looking for the road to walk on. I know you are scared of what might happen if you don’t choose one sooner, but who can judge when it would be too late, you are never too old for anything.

You are travelling on the road not often travelled; painting the masterpiece the world still imagines of,  It’s okay if you flip out or fluctuate; there are so many things to try on, and may be while doing so might just hold one forever.

But while you are lost, just don’t forget to live enough. And let not this harsh world change you, their criticism should be your strength, their rebukes should be your smile and all this while you’ll grow and learn.

There are times when you feel you are not good enough for anything, but have a look at the bright side may be that anything is not good enough for you. There are times when you feel like that you are not standing up to the expectations of others, but just remember all  those who really care just want you to be happy, and while the rest should not bother you at all.

There are times when you feel people around you are flying rockets while you are still struck on a bicycle, but isn’t each one of a different indivual, so accept your journey and create most out of it every day; every little thing you are blessed to enjoy. Just grab all the good things this day has for you to offer.

The other side looks greener I know, but aren’t green paths, a consequence of lots of rain .Have faith in all of your efforts. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Take care of yourself; feed your mind as well as your soul.

Someday somewhere you’ll find yourself. Someday you will be you. So Dear Lost Girl, Lets be a little lost and live life!
